Connection Group update.......
I am so sorry that I had to work last monday. I know that we had a couple of new families joining us for the first time and I hated to miss it. April filled me in though and it sounds like ya'll had a great time.
Looking forward to things to come.....
We are sad to inform everyone that Nina and Phillip Olive and family will not be joining us anymore. We are going to miss them but we always welcome the opportunities that come at Celebration. Phillip and Nina will be hosting a Middle School connect group at the same time as ours. So we send them off with prayer and understanding. Thank you guys for stepping out.. We will be praying for you and the children that you will be pouring into!
Our next time to meet together will be Sunday March 8th (5:00pm - 7pm). My schedule is a little crazy and it works out that Monday 9th (which is our usual 2nd Monday) is on my shift again. If anyone has a problem with Sunday 8th please let us know. My schedule will usually miss the normal 2nd Monday but when it hits on that day we would like to schedule the connect group on Sunday (the day before). If this interferes with anyone elses plans we will keep it on Monday and I will have to miss. I hope you all understand. Please post your comments on the Blog about this topic.
Couple of things to consider:
1. 2nd Sundays or Mondays??
Pros to Sunday - We can start earlier and not get home so late.
Sundays - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mondays - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
2. 4th Monday or Sunday?? - This is an opportunity to get together for a second time during the month for a potluck diner and social time. How does everyone feel about really getting this going??
Final Point for the night:
April and I look forward to getting to know everyone this year! Our group has changed alot since we first started and we feel that we are building strong relationships. We look forward to the opportunity to getting to know everyone and we embrace change. Relationships are going to be crucial this year. If your year has started off anything like ours we know that you need friends to lean on for praying and encouragement. Lets pull together and take this year head on!

Just checking to see if comment box works.
I am all about getting to hang out. If that is Sunday fine .Monday fine. Let's discuss at our next meeting. Is everyone in our group on Facebook? If so, we should post this in on there as well.
I'm definitely up for meeting on sundays for the social so that there is more time to hang out, but I am fine with either sunday or monday for the connect group meeting. I'm not sure if Shane and Jillian and Brian and Stephanie are getting the updates to the blog since they are new and I didn't have their email addresses to add to the blog's notification system.
I'm good for either day as well, Monday or Sunday's. Maybe we could alternate just in case some couples have something going on on a Sunday or Monday night? Just a thought.
