Monday 30th Connection

Hey Everyone!
Looks like Monday is going to creep up on us fast. Lets all get together this coming Monday at our house again. Jake and Kim called yesterday to let us know that they will volunteer for next months 4th Monday/Sunday Potluck. Jake will be out of town this week unexpectedly so we will be hosting this coming Monday. Who wants to do a MEXICAN POTLUCK?? If you have any other suggestions please let us know.
Time: 6pm-8pm ish
Place: 1821 Chincoteague way

Dericks not SICK Lets get Together

Ok.. I think that we spoke to almost everyone last night.... BUT just in case.. Lets try it again. Make up day for CG this Sunday at 5:00pm..

Lets do dinner! I will make a main dish of a Lasagna or pasta..
Could I have volunteers to bring:

Next Connect Group

Hello All,

Connection Group update.......
I am so sorry that I had to work last monday. I know that we had a couple of new families joining us for the first time and I hated to miss it. April filled me in though and it sounds like ya'll had a great time.
Looking forward to things to come.....
We are sad to inform everyone that Nina and Phillip Olive and family will not be joining us anymore. We are going to miss them but we always welcome the opportunities that come at Celebration. Phillip and Nina will be hosting a Middle School connect group at the same time as ours. So we send them off with prayer and understanding. Thank you guys for stepping out.. We will be praying for you and the children that you will be pouring into!
Our next time to meet together will be Sunday March 8th (5:00pm - 7pm). My schedule is a little crazy and it works out that Monday 9th (which is our usual 2nd Monday) is on my shift again. If anyone has a problem with Sunday 8th please let us know. My schedule will usually miss the normal 2nd Monday but when it hits on that day we would like to schedule the connect group on Sunday (the day before). If this interferes with anyone elses plans we will keep it on Monday and I will have to miss. I hope you all understand. Please post your comments on the Blog about this topic.
Couple of things to consider:
1. 2nd Sundays or Mondays??
Pros to Sunday - We can start earlier and not get home so late.
Sundays - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mondays - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
2. 4th Monday or Sunday?? - This is an opportunity to get together for a second time during the month for a potluck diner and social time. How does everyone feel about really getting this going??
Final Point for the night:
April and I look forward to getting to know everyone this year! Our group has changed alot since we first started and we feel that we are building strong relationships. We look forward to the opportunity to getting to know everyone and we embrace change. Relationships are going to be crucial this year. If your year has started off anything like ours we know that you need friends to lean on for praying and encouragement. Lets pull together and take this year head on!

Ok... Its official. I will not be able to attend our Connect Group tonight. I will be at work and I can't get off. So I know April will be ready for everyone. Please welcome our new CG members for me! Brian and Stepahie & Shane and Jillian..
